Cleaning a Fan Without Disassembly: A Step-by-Step Guide

Fans are essential appliances in our homes during the summer. After being used extensively, they inevitably become covered with dust and bacteria, which not only affects their appearance and our health but also reduces their cooling efficiency. Therefore, it's important to clean fans regularly.

In this article, I will share a trick to clean your fan without taking it apart.

What You'll Need:

  • Half a basin of water
  • Washing powder
  • Fabric softener
  • White vinegar
  • Water
  • Plastic bag

Steps:

  1. Clean the Grille: Mix water and washing powder, then spray the solution onto the fan's grille. Use a cleaning brush to scrub the grille.
  2. Clean the Blades: Create a solution with vinegar and fabric softener, then spray it onto the fan blades to help loosen the dust.
  3. Dust Removal: Place a plastic bag over the fan, turn it on, and let it run. The fan will suck in the dust, which will then be trapped in the bag.

Why These Ingredients:

  • Washing Powder: Effective for cleaning and disinfecting.
  • White Vinegar: Disinfects and helps moisten and clean the dirt on the fan.
